JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under broad supervision, plan and conduct food service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease. Provides nutritional assessment, education and counseling to individuals, groups or the public. Serves as a resource on nutrition and dietetics to nurses, health educators or other health care providers in the facility. Recommends nutritional care plans and documents plan and progress in records. Serves as team leader.

Works in the WIC program to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease. Provides nutritional assessment education and counseling to high risk clients through face-to-face and video conferencing for the thirteen counties within District 2. Serves as a resource on nutrition and dietetics to nurses, health educators or other health care providers within the District. Recommends nutritional care plans and documents plan and progress in records.
Hall County based hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8-5, Tuesday 8-6 and Friday 8-3. All WIC positions are subject to travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program AND One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist AND Registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration AND licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous WIC experience
Fluent Bilingual (Spanish/English)
